Girls and Ladies Football
Dear Members & Supporters,
As you are all aware The Workers Football Club has invested a lot of our resources to grow Girls & Ladies Football in the last few years in Bankstown. This has resulted in RWFC growing year-on-year in this area. In addition to the normal winter competitions, RWFC have also organised Girls, Ladies & Over-30 Ladies competitions over the summer months to ensure our Girls & Ladies play our sport throughout the year. The cost for these competitions are discounted for RWFC members.

In-person Registration Day
Dear All,
Please note that the in-person registration tomorrow will commence at 11AM at Revesby Workers Club, 2B Brett Street, Revesby. The registration counters will be situated at the Brett Street Foyer Entrance.
If you are attending the in-person registrations, it will be of great assistance to us and make the registration process faster, if you can come prepared by ensuring you bring along your (1) FFA Number, (2) the password for your FFA account and (3) proof of age document (only for new players) .

Four Mondays in January – the 8th, 15th, 22nd & 29th.
Trials will be held at Milperra Reserve, Cnr Ashford St & Bullicourt Ave, Milperra at 7pm

- Committee formed for the coming season (late in previous year)
- Registration period (Jan to April)
- Team formation. (March)
- Gradings (usually where there are multiple teams in a division). (March)
- Training dates determined. (March)
- Trial games determined. (Feb / March)
- Trial games played (March)
- Season start (April)
- Coaches and Manager’s meetings (monthly)
- Committee meetings (monthly / ad-hoc)
- Trivia night, Gala days and other events (mid-season)
- Season end (August)
- Junior Presentation Day (October)
- Senior Presentation Night (October)
Finals weekend – this weekend!
Who can believe the 2017 outdoor season is almost over?! Most of our 43 teams are now finished, but we still have 1 more senior team vying for Grand Final glory and we’d love you to come out this weekend to support them:
All Age Mens 1st division Grand final this Saturday 26th Aug vs Bankstown RSL Dragons. 1:30pm at Kearns (Antwerp St Bankstown) field 1. Go Workers!
Don’t forget to wear your maroon colours, and bring your afternoon tea treats along!

We will run the BBQ and have some food together as well as end of season admin.
If you have finished playing by then, please bring all your gear (laundered shirts) to return.
Those still playing finals will need to return at a later date.
