Powerhouse Voices – choir workshop
Sam’s wife Preeya is running a choir workshop at Casula Powerhouse tomorrow! Preeya is an experienced choir director and has worked with children’s choirs for over 10 years. Tomorrow’s (Tuesday 22/4/19) workshop is open to children aged 8-12years of age and goes from 10AM to 2PM. Finals fun this weekend
Last weekend our Over 35/1 team scored seconds before the end of extra time, avoiding a penalty shootout and claiming victory! Then on Sunday our 14 Ladies A team won their Grand Final 6-0! Toss in the 14/2B team from the week before and that’s 3 Grand Final teams so far!

For the record our 45B’s beat 45A’s 4-1. A well deserved win for the better team on the day!

Platinum League 2019 trial dates
Trials for the 2019 Platinum League squad will run for 3 weeks in January as follows:
Thursday 17th January
Thursday 24th January
Thursday 31st January
They will be held at Milperra Reserve, Cnr Ashford St & Bullicourt Ave, Milperra at 7pm

A typical season involves the following events
- Committee formed for the coming season (late in previous year)
- Registration period (Jan to April)
- Team formation. (March)
- Gradings (usually where there are multiple teams in a division). (March)
- Training dates determined. (March)
- Trial games determined. (Feb / March)
- Trial games played (March)
- Season start (April)
- Coaches and Manager’s meetings (monthly)
- Committee meetings (monthly / ad-hoc)
- Trivia night, Gala days and other events (mid-season)
- Season end (August)
- Junior Presentation Day (October)
- Senior Presentation Night (October)
